The Princess and the Pea

Hans Christian Andersen

Children (0 - 5)

In this timeless fairy tale classic, a young prince wants to marry a ‘real’ princess. One dark and stormy night, a bedraggled girl knocks on the castle doors claiming to be a ‘real’ princess. She is offered shelter and put to the test by placing a pea under her bed of twenty mattresses. Only a ‘real’ princess could be so sensitive as to feel the pea. Lo and behold! She does and marries the prince to live happily ever after.
