Little Thumbelina

Hans Christian Andersen

Children (0 - 5)

When a sad woman who wishes for a little child asks a fairy for help, the fairy gives her a barleycorn to plant in a pot. It grows into a flower, and upon kissing the petals, it blooms, revealing a tiny girl inside barely the size of a thumb. Little Thumbelina uses a leaf as a boat during the day and sleeps in a flower petal bed at night. Until one night, she is kidnapped and finds herself involved in a series of wonderful adventures.
